More and more “Evangelicals” have been embracing the LBGT agenda at a rapid pace. The Episcopalians have ordained homosexual ministers, and “leaders” among many under the Christian umbrella (BTW anyone can now call themselves a Christian, woman, man, animal).
The problem is the narrative among conservatives, evolving from issues that should concern the church from a biblical perspective such as evangelism, discipleship and care for widows and orphans. (Matthew 28:16-20)(James 1:27) To a warped sense of social justice in the vain of Black Lives Matter and Trigger Warnings.
These so-called “evangelical leaders” who champion for the rights of the downtrodden and less-fortunate, give up their biblical foundations (if they ever had one) for the praise of the world who applauds them for their “love” and “tolerance”. Ignoring very clear scriptures that warn them that if the world loves them, they are not in Christ. (John 15:19) This verse alone should shake Christians to their very core. Those who amass popularity at alarming rates should often calibrate themselves with a question of “why am I so popular?”
When a vocal majority of orthodox Christians voice their concern, it would be wise to listen. (Proverbs 15:12)

Those who know basic Bible will remember that scripture is clear on the coming persecution of the church toward the end of days. Though we see persecution in other countries happening at steady rates, the western church has yet to experience killings or jail for vocalizing their faith. I propose that the persecution we shall experience will likely happen from the majority of “Christians” in high places.
I believe we will begin to see the lack of tolerance for those who stand on the solid foundation of scripture. Those who do not affirm homosexuality (1 Cor 6:9) and transgender issues. Let me be clear, this is not a call of hate. This is not a plea to storm the gates of LGBT homes, that would run counter to the commands of scripture. We are to evangelize and make disciples of all men and women (genders assumed) and to turn our cheeks and pray for our enemies.
The time is coming that those of us who stand on biblical truth will wear the scarlet letter of hatred because we are unwilling to waiver on what we know to be true. We must not do this with bayonets and pitchforks however, we must do it with meekness, gentleness, kindness and above all love.
